Ankie and Daan present lantern shows for family audiences in a variety of venues (museums, schools, theatres, educational centres etc.). The content of their shows always differs depending of the demands of the target audience.

With their impressive magic lantern (made in Manchester, 1892) they recreate a magic lantern show that would have been common in the Netherlands some 120 years ago.

A performance always consists of comical stories, Victorian melodrama, moral tales and stories illustrated with music. Ankie and Daan use fascinating original examples of mechanical moving slides, slipping slides, dissolving sets and of course a large amount of the famous chromotropes.
