Live online streaming of Society events
We try to make our meetings available online to members who can’t attend in person.
This isn’t always possible – for example some of the venues we use don’t have good enough internet connections, or our technical volunteers may not be able to put in the (considerable) amount of work needed.
When we are able to livestream, all members will be advised by email a few days before the meeting. The stream will be linked from this page via our members-only private YouTube channel – to see the links and view the stream you first need to sign in to the Members’ Area.
The stream will usually stay available after the meeting (until replaced by the next meeting), though we can’t guarantee this for any specific length of time. The recording will be ‘raw’ unedited video – when time and workloads allow, the individual presentations will be edited and made available via the Past events section of our website.
